"We/us/our": West of England Road Safety Partnership
"Scheme": Keep your wheels campaign
"Kitty": Amount of incentive an individual has earned on the scheme
- The start date for the Keep Your Wheels is the 11th June 2007.
- The promoter for this scheme is the West of England Road Safety Partnership. Address: South Gloucestershire Council, Broad Lane, Yate BS37 7PN.
- Our decisions in respect of any aspect of this promotion shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The ‘Keep your wheels’ campaign is only open to people who have passed their CBT no longer than 6 months prior to registration to the scheme. And for people whose permanent address is with the council districts of Bristol CC, South Gloucestershire CC, North Somerset CC and Bath and North East Somerset CC.
- Only one registration per person will be allowed.
- We reserve the right to only payout a kitty when all stated eligibility criteria has been met. This includes a photocopy of the individuals CBT certificate, and a photocopy of Part 2 of their Driving license being sent to the relevant address in the 12 month of membership of the scheme.
- We reserve the right to increase and decrease individuals kitty amounts as we see fit.
- The financial incentives for the scheme are:
- Starting point £50
- Get more cash by:
- Getting 10/10 in the online Quiz or completing the online Bike Maintenance check list – earn £2.50 per month
- Major Garage Service/MOT completed – Gain £20
- Recommend a friend – Entry into quarterly Prize Draw to win an I-Pod Nano
- Lose cash by:
- Getting a Police warning for any bike related reason i.e. not wearing the right clothing, no ‘L Plates’, riding poorly etc – Lose £5
- points on licence – Lose £15
- Banned from driving – Banned from Keep Your Wheels which means no cash at all!
- The total amount anyone will be eligible for after 12 months on the scheme will be no higher than £100.
- North Somerset residents will receive payment in the form of Halfords vouchers rather than cash.
- Any negative factors that result in a kitty reduction are non-negotiable.
- A driving ban at any point during scheme membership will result in automatic disqualification from the scheme.
- Final payment of total kitty will be paid to the individual within 2 months after completion of the 12 month scheme.
- We reserve the right to close the scheme at any point. If this is the case, no more kitty payments will be made to anyone eligible after the closure date.
- ‘Recommend a Friend’ Quarterly Prize Draw:
- The competition is open to UK residents only.
- The promoter for this scheme is the West of England Road Safety Partnership. Address: South Gloucestershire Council, Broad Lane, Yate BS37 7PN.
- The competition is only open to people who are currently eligible and registered for the Keep your wheels campaign.
- Entries for the Prize Draw are made by current Keep Your Wheels members recommending an eligible friend for Keep Your Wheels.
- Entries for the Quarterly Prize Draw will only be successful when the friend who has been recommended successfully signs up to Keep Your Wheels.
- All participants much be aged 16 or over.
- There is no cash alternative to the prize.
- Participants must have a valid email and postal address to participate.
- No responsibility is accepted for ineligible or fraudulent entries.
- Eligible entries are unlimited.
- Notification of winning: the winner will telephoned within [2 weeks] of the prize draw close date, and their prize will be sent to their registered home address within [4 weeks] of the prize draw close date.
- The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any promotional activity following the competition.
